All IAQ data are wirelessly transmitted to the cloud for web app access by authorized personnel. Data may also be viewed on the local display.

Monitor plugs into a standard duplex outlet with two replacement outlets on the bottom. Tamperproof screw prevents students from removing the monitor.

During school installation one Aircense IAQ monitor is placed in each classroom and other locations such as meeting rooms and restrooms. All data is wirelessly sent to cloud servers.

Images are from Indoorcare. Aircense is implementing a similar user interface and will also create an Aircense API to Indoorcare's app.
Health
Aircense constantly monitors air quality and immediately sends an alert whenever any parameter becomes hazardous. IAQ status may be viewed at several different levels: school district, school, individual room and a specific parameter graphed over time.
AI provides valuable recommendations for facility modifications which should be made to improve air quality.
Safety
Aircense monitors are constantly listening and using built-in AI to detect dangerous sounds such as gunshots and key words "emergency" or "call 911". Designated personnel are immediately notified when dangerous sounds are detected.
During an emergency, live audio can be streamed to detect the nature of the event and to assist safety officers in locating perpetrators.
Energy
Measurements of CO2, ambient light and sound are analyzed by AI to determine if a room is occupied. Occupancy information can be communicated to a smart HVAC system to reduce ventilation to unoccupied rooms.
Reducing ventilation to unoccupied rooms can reduce average energy consumption by up to 30%, resulting in significant cost savings.

Ten Reasons Why Aircense is Perfect for Schools

Most comprehensive IAQ measurements
Measurements include often neglected pollutants such as radon, ozone, formaldehyde and nitrous oxides.

UL listed carbon monoxide alarm
Carbon monoxide measurement plus a UL listed carbon monoxide alarm (eliminates need for separate alarms).

IAQ app with alerts and AI assistance
Web app provides IAQ data with alerts for hazardous conditions. AI provides IAQ improvement advice.

Alerts when dangerous sounds detected
Monitors are constantly listening for dangerous sounds and key words "emergency" and "call 911".

Inexpensive to install and operate
No upfront cost with a monthly expense of only $600 to completely outfit a typical school with IAQ monitoring.

Reduces energy cost
Room occupancy detection enables automatic ventilation reduction to unoccupied rooms saving up to 30% cost.

Extremely simple to install
No holes to drill and no cables -- just plug into an outlet and configuration is automatic.

Wireless firmware updates
Monitor firmware and configuration are automatically updated via WiFi or Bluetooth.

Made in the USA
Aircense products are made in the USA to ensure quality with no price impact from variable tariffs.
Free One Month Evaluation
Sign-up for more information and/or free evaluation of an Aircense IAQ monitor and app. The monitor is easily unplugged and may be moved to various locations.
Product availability is expected later in 2026. Demo customers will be granted priority for first production shipments.
