Making Schools

Healthy and Safe

Children are more susceptible to poor air quality than adults.  We have an obligation to ensure they are breathing healthy air.

The World's Most Comprehensive Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitor

  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

  • Carbon Monoxide (CO)

  • Ozone (O3) or Formaldehyde (HCHO)

  • Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC)

  • Nitrous Oxides (NOx)

  • Particulate Matter (PM1)

  • Particulate Matter (PM2.5)

  • Particulate Matter (PM10)

  • Radon (Rn)

  • Temperature (T)

  • Relative Humidity (RH)

  • Barometric Pressure

  • Ambient Sound

  • Ambient Light

All IAQ data are wirelessly transmitted to the cloud for web app access by authorized personnel.  Data may also be viewed on the local display.

Monitor plugs into a standard duplex outlet with two replacement outlets on the bottom. Tamperproof screw prevents students from removing the monitor.

During school installation one Aircense IAQ monitor is placed in each classroom and other locations such as meeting rooms and restrooms.  All data is wirelessly sent to cloud servers.

Health

Aircense constantly monitors air quality and immediately sends an alert whenever any parameter becomes hazardous.  IAQ status may be viewed at several different levels: school district, school, individual room and a specific parameter graphed over time.

AI provides valuable recommendations for facility modifications which should be made to improve air quality.

Safety

Aircense monitors are constantly listening and using built-in AI to detect dangerous sounds such as gunshots and key words "emergency" or "call 911".  Designated personnel are immediately notified when dangerous sounds are detected.

During an emergency, live audio can be streamed to detect the nature of the event and to assist safety officers in locating perpetrators.

Energy

Measurements of CO2, ambient light and sound are analyzed by AI to determine if a room is occupied.  Occupancy information can be communicated to a smart HVAC system to reduce ventilation to unoccupied rooms.

Reducing ventilation to unoccupied rooms can reduce average energy consumption by up to 30%, resulting in significant cost savings.

Ten Reasons Why Aircense is Perfect for Schools

checkbox_2440972.png

Most comprehensive IAQ measurements

Measurements include often neglected pollutants such as radon, ozone, formaldehyde and nitrous oxides.

UL listed carbon monoxide alarm

Carbon monoxide measurement plus a UL listed carbon monoxide alarm (eliminates need for separate alarms).

Continuous radon measurement

Radon is colorless and odorless but it can cause lung cancer.  Annual radon testing is inadequate.

IAQ app with alerts and AI assistance

Web app provides IAQ data with alerts for hazardous conditions.  AI provides IAQ improvement advice.

Inexpensive to install and operate

No upfront cost with a monthly expense of only $600 to completely outfit a typical school with IAQ monitoring.
